Nirvana sound with full force: In The Name Of Cobain live in Gera

On February 20, 2027, the Clubzentrum Comma in Gera will be transformed into an electrifying grunge venue. In The Name Of Cobain brings the raw, emotional, and uncompromising sound of Nirvana to the stage – with classics such as Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are, Lithium, and Polly.

Authentic grunge sound and intense stage performance

The Czech tribute band has been dedicated to the musical legacy of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl since 2012. Approximately 40 shows a year in the Czech Republic and Slovakia form the basis for a live atmosphere that captures Nirvana's energy from the early 1990s: powerful guitars, distinctive bass lines, driving drums, and a stage performance that balances tenderness and controlled explosion.

From Nevermind to Unplugged in New York

The repertoire spans the key phases of Nirvana's discography. In addition to the major rock anthems, songs from Bleach, In Utero, and the legendary acoustic program Unplugged in New York are also at the forefront. Especially the Unplugged set opens up a more intimate timbre: reduced arrangements, warm acoustic guitars, and a focused audience mood meet the raw emotionality of the original.

Cast with a clear musical signature

Martin Hájek takes on vocals and guitar as Kurt Cobain, Karel Hlavka plays the bass part of Krist Novoselic, and Dominika Plesingerová sits at the drums in the role of Dave Grohl. For the Unplugged program, Petr Fryauf complements the ensemble on acoustic guitar as Pat Smear. The arrangements combine precise synchronization with the unrefined dynamics that continue to shape grunge today.

Clubzentrum Comma: compact concert energy in Gera

The Clubzentrum Comma at Heinrichstraße 47 provides the perfect setting for an immediate concert experience with stage, bar, cloakroom area, as well as mobile sound and lighting technology. The hall brings the band and audience closely together – ideal for walls of guitars, loud choruses, and the special tension of a rock concert in a club.

Conclusion: Experience Nirvana live

In The Name Of Cobain promises an evening of grunge classics, acoustic intensity, and uncompromising live sound. Anyone who wants to not only hear Nirvana's music but experience it in light, volume, and audience mood should not miss this concert at the Clubzentrum Comma.
