Country Power and Great Classics: The Cowboys live in Gera
On Friday, May 14, 2027, The Cowboys bring their tour THE WILD, WILD WEST – live on the move to the Comma Club Center in Gera. The concert evening begins at 8:00 PM, doors open at 6:00 PM.
Five Decades of Country History on One Stage
The Cowboys unite former members and a founding member of the legendary German country band Truck Stop. Rainer Bach, Uwe Lost, Dirk Schlag, Chris Kaufmann, and Florian Lost represent musicians who have shaped the German country sound for decades.
The program includes great hits like The Wild West, I’d Love to Hear Dave Dudley, City Police, and Old Texas Town, the Western Town. New songs as well as country and country-rock classics are also featured, including tracks from the Eagles and the late 1960s.
Guitars, Voices, and Real Stage Energy
The live atmosphere thrives on distinctive guitar riffs, multi-part singing, and a band lineup that knows country music from experience. Rainer Bach shaped several Truck Stop hits as a composer and lead voice. Uwe Lost was a part of Truck Stop for 45 years and is known, among other things, for the cult song Big Sharks, Small Fish, which became famous as the theme song of the ARD series City Police.
Dirk Schlag brings his experience from working with Truck Stop and Santiano. Chris Kaufmann further developed the guitar sound of Truck Stop with contemporary riffs. This results in a concert experience that blends classic country, country-rock, and German-language music history.
Audience Mood with Cult Factor
The first concerts of the formation were characterized by great joy of playing, audience choirs, and emotional resonance, according to event information. The Cowboys do not rely solely on nostalgia but on a powerful stage performance with familiar melodies, precise synchronization, and audible passion for the sound.
Live at the Comma Club Center
The concert takes place at the Comma Club Center at Heinrichstraße 47 in downtown Gera. The venue provides a fitting setting for an evening where country classics, personal musical experience, and modern stage energy come together.
