My Take on Naturbad Kaimberg! Just got back from a swim here, and wanted to share my thoughts for anyone thinking of going! What I Liked (The Good Stuff! 👍): * Awesome for Swimming: First and foremost, you can actually swim here, which is great! There's plenty of space to splash around or just float. * Good Buzz, Lots of People: It's got a nice lively vibe. There were quite a few people around, which I personally like – feels safer and more communal than an empty spot. * The Big Slide is a Blast! Seriously, the slide into the main pond is super fun! Definitely adds an extra thrill to your swim. * Cute Little Sprinkler Area: They've got this smaller area with little water squirters which is nice for a change of pace, or if you've got little ones who just want to splash around without going fully in. * Nature Vibes: Being out in a big pond feels much more natural and open than a crowded pool. Plus, it's usually pretty scenic. * Great for Hot Days: When it's scorching outside, nothing beats jumping into some cool water, even if it's a bit of a shock at first! What I Didn't Love So Much (The Not-So-Good Stuff 😬): * Brace Yourself for the Cold! Okay, no sugarcoating it – when you first get in, the water is cold. Like, take-your-breath-away cold. BUT, and this is a big BUT, after a few minutes, your body adjusts, and it actually feels really refreshing. So just push through the first bit! * The Slide's Sprinklers are ICY! If you're heading for the big slide, be warned: the squirters on the slide itself are even colder than the pond water! It's like a pre-chilling experience before you even hit the pond. You'll definitely be very awake by the time you splash down, haha. * Can Get Crowded: Because there are "many people," it can sometimes feel a bit crowded, especially around the popular spots like the slide. If you're looking for total peace and quiet, this might not be your jam on a busy day. * Natural Bottom: This is a pond, so don't expect a perfectly smooth pool bottom. There might be a bit of silt or small stones underfoot, which some people don't love. Might want to wear water shoes if you're sensitive!

We really like going here with our kids, especially since the area by the wading pool is rarely crowded. The wading pool and the lake are very nice. However, everything here is quite dated, but they have finally invested in a new playground for the kids and new sanitary facilities.

*** A Real Summer Paradise *** The Naturbad in Kaimberg is absolutely recommended – for families, sports enthusiasts, and anyone just looking to relax. The huge sunbathing area is particularly noteworthy, where you can wonderfully unwind – even on busy days, you can find enough space. The water slide provides a lot of fun for both young and old, and the separate children's wading pool is ideal for the little ones. If you want to be active, you can do so on the well-maintained beach volleyball court – a great addition! Another plus: The bus stop is right in front of the entrance, so it's super accessible even without a car. All in all, a very well-kept and lovingly designed natural pool – we will definitely come back!!!

I hadn't even considered the Naturbad. During our visit, it was very quiet and clean. Plenty of space in both shade and sun. There’s a small food service available.

The price and what is offered is great. Compared to the public pool, the atmosphere is quieter and still supervised with enough lounging space. Unfortunately, the staff at the entrance was a bit brusque and annoyed, hence only four stars. Edit: So far, I haven't had any bad experiences, maybe there was a change.
