Regensburg: First sunny, then the weather turns – rain in the evening

In Regensburg, Tuesday still starts with many clouds, but becomes noticeably friendlier as the morning progresses. At times, the sun even appears in an almost cloudless sky. Around midday, temperatures reach up to 26 degrees, accompanied by noticeable but mostly only briefly freshening gusts of wind from the southeast.

In the afternoon, the weather situation changes again: the clouds increase and light rain is possible towards the evening. With the rain, the wind can also pick up and come from the west – the forecast mentions strong gusts of up to about 40 km/h. For the evening, values of 90 percent and 1.5 l/m² are also indicated – this suggests a high probability of rain with rather low precipitation amounts.

Wednesday significantly cooler and still cloudy

On Wednesday morning it remains cloudy, with temperatures around 11 degrees. During the day, cooler air prevails, and more than 20 degrees will not be reached. The sky remains cloudy, accompanied by a moderate wind with gusts from the north – after the warm Tuesday, this is a noticeable drop in temperature.

Thursday with showers, strong gusts and only 16 degrees

On Thursday, the weather in Regensburg remains unsettled. Light rain showers are expected, along with continued strong gusts. The maximum temperature is only around 16 degrees. Thus, the cooler phase continues: within two days, temperatures drop from 26 degrees at midday on Tuesday to around 16 degrees on Thursday.

Pollen: For many allergy sufferers, rather calm for now

The situation remains comparatively relaxed for allergy sufferers as well. In Bavaria north of the Danube – excluding the Bavarian Forest and Mainfranken – pollen levels are expected to be low in the coming days.

• Grasses: Low exposure on Tuesday and Wednesday
• Birch: Exposure drops from low (Tuesday) to none or low (Wednesday)
• Ash: Very low levels on both days
• Ragweed, mugwort, alder, hazel, and rye: do not play a role on either day

All in all, after the friendlier Tuesday in Regensburg, a noticeably cooler and more unsettled weather phase follows. Anyone spending longer periods outdoors should plan for a jacket and rain protection again from Wednesday.
